I with the past pacman -Syu (doing at 3 july 2020) I have this error when started ncmpcpp
terminate called after throwing an istance od 'std::logic_error' what (): basic_string ::_M_construct null not valid [1]
I use ncmpcpp 0.8.2-12 on alacritty and tmux
How I can solve it ?

The issue fixed with a new pacman -Syu after two days.
