Oops! I typed kdm instead of xdm, sorry! I feel like a complete idiot! I did the fresh install and assumed that I had remembered to install those three!!! I just installed them and it fixed the X error. I was then presented by a fluxbox error

"error while loading shared libraries: libexpat.so.0: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory"

Found this post and used that way of fixing it! But will this really cause problems later?

And thanks to all who helped me out! Always a learning experiance![/code]

Nope. I do not think you will have problems later. Once is up and running  ... it's up and running.

SWEET! The funny thing is, the first thing I did when I got x running, was to go download cowsay and mc!?

Are you sure you did a 'pacman -Syu'? It looks like you are using an old expat package. Post the results of 'ldd /usr/bin/fluxbox'
