Complicated, Each display is governed by a seperate GPU

So my setup is a Acer Nitro 7 Gaming laptop, a gift from my brother, it has a built-in display that is governed by the CPU's integrated GPU, and the HDMI port is governed by the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 GPU

Because of this, I can't use both displays. While distributions such as Pop_OS can handle this strange configuration, Ubuntu can barely handle it as only the mouse will display on the second monitor (HDMI)

Arch I have no clue how to set this up. Any help will be helpful.

I currently Have POP_OS installed as dualboot with windows 10, i intend on somehow getting the config from Pop_OS and using it on arch,

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NV … phics_only the only here is a bit of a misnomer, it will initialize both correctly granted you set things up correctly.

I link to that section so that you can manually see what goes into this, if you need more flexibility because you use the system on the go and want to disable the nvidia card to save power, look at some of the other options like optimus-manager or so.
