Hi,
I have an issue with 4K UHD videos.
Very large files (20Gb) are shaking (jerking) a little bit during playing with VLC or other player.
However, my computer is normally pretty good for this job :

Perhaps check the output of vainfo and vdpauinfo (see https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ha … celeration ) and compare it to the video codec info in VLC when playing the file in question. The codec of your video file may lack hardware acceleration on your system.
