Hello, i'm solved the problem by adding "amd_iommu = on  iommu = pt" as parameters passed to the kernel at boot time (grub).

@Gonard, thx for the tip.
I got another response from MSI support asking me to fix CPU ratio in BIOS. So I changed from Auto to 36 (giving the base 3600 from my CPU) and its working so far. No freezes from Idle.
If it does not solve ill try your kernel params and post here the results

You could try both of this aproaches too.
I would fix your Ratio at 38.00 (which is your CPUs base clock, if im not wrong) and see it gets stable. Better all cores with no freeze at base then 1 cpu burning @100% usage (lol).

Ill bring updates as I have.

Turning off acpi would only allow one core to run I never expected. I only noticed that today while running ZOOM. It was complaining about my cpu.
In the mean time I also use a stress test program to ensure that one core is always 100% active with acpi on.

What did MSI say when you told them their 'solution' didn't do anything for you? Did they come up with other things to do? If they don't I'll get in touch with them about this.

I'm also not capable of building my own kernels. Up untill now no kernel prevented crashes. I also tried with installing Windows, Debian bases distro's and custom kernels. Nothing helped.

Try installing the last BIOS version. It claims to have improved memory support and AMD AGESA support. And Linux 5.9 comes with improved acpi support
