Hey guys,
I booted up my machine yesterday and my keyboard no longer works. It doesn't even work when I am booting up and going through the motherboard bios into the grub screen. Whenever I get logged into arch and check the logs I see this.
usb usb7-port1: unable to enumerate USB device
usb usb7-port1: Cannot enable. Maybe the USB cable is bad?
When I plug in an alternate keyboard I have it works perfectly fine, originally I was thinking the keyboard is actually shot. But when I plug it into my old ubuntu laptop it lights up and types just like normal.
I have tried updating the system, rebooting multiple times. I'm unsure of what the next step would be. Its a corsair K70R if that makes in difference. Ive looked on the arch wiki for some troubleshooting and could only find things about setting keymaps.
Thanks.

Have you tried another keyboard for this machine?
There may be a problem on the port you plugging the keyboard.
do it good first, it will be faster than do it twice the saint ![]()

Yes I have tried a different keyboard, and it works perfectly fine. As well as trying every USB port available on the machine with the keyboard that has stopped working.
