So I installed and configured the plymouth splash screen and it works a little strangely. At boot it shows the splash but while rebooting and shutting down, there is no splash screen.
I am using Gnome. Previously, I had KDE and under KDE the splash worked on all cases, so I am thinking it might be a Gnome issue.
I've read the wiki and can't find any solution to this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Everything works flawlessly besides this.
