GNOME: launch apps in app drawer as root by default

Hey there,

recently I installed some applications which need root access to run properly. I did a little research, but I didn't found out, how to run applications as root by default out of gnome. Does anybody know, how to fix this?

Note that the way to run cli programs as root is through sudo.   I cannot think of any reason one would ever want to run a GUI program as root.  Note that doing so can create all manner if issues; not the least of which is security.  Other issues are that GUI applications have a habit if sprinkling files throughout your home directory, and if they are created by root, your user won't be able to manage them.
