Hello,
I have installed Arch on my laptop (again).
I had a problem that pacman installed old versions of almost all packages. I had run pacman -Syyu to update my mirrorlist (which I did not touch before), but it did not update anything.
I have copied the mirrorlist from my PC and it updated 5GB.
I dont understand how this could happen. This is not my first arch install. I never had such a problem.
I have spotted it, because pacman installed Firefox version 73, which is a few months old.
Can someone explain it to me?
Thank you.

First...pacman -Syyu does not update your mirrorlist...use tools like reflector instead.
Assuming installation with archiso...
The archiso now uses reflector with reflector.service to update a mirrorlist upon network connection, using mirrors that updated very recently...
So technically this shouldn’t be possible...
The chances are that:
1- You are using an old archiso pendrive...
2- Reflector somehow did a derp...
Can you post ‘/etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist’?

That command does not update your mirrorlist, it updates your local repos against an out-of-date mirror.

I have created the pendrive 2 days ago.
I have already deleted the old mirrorlist, sorry.
Edit: I have used this iso, if it does matter.
