Hello all,
I have installed Arch previously but after installing it this time, the Vendor logo that appears on Power on isn't showing anymore. It just shows a black screen until Plymouth takes over and then shows the bgrt spinner theme. I can confirm that the logo is present in /sys/firmware/acpi/bgrt/image and is not corrupt. Any suggestions or help will be highly appreciated.
Current Boot sequence:
Power On
- Black Screen
- Black screen
- Plymouth bgrt spinner with vendor logo
- Black screen
- login screen
Expected: The vendor logo to show instead of all those black screens.
I am using systemd-boot and have these parameters in my boot options:
quiet splash loglevel=3 rd.udev.log_priority=3 vt.global_cursor_default=0
[UPDATE]
I tried booting up a live Manjaro from USB, it displayed the logo just fine. So the firmware is indeed fine, nothing's corrupted there.
Thanks

Which boot loader? Are you sure you've set up an UEFI boot?
