Pacman never finding anything

I have 2 arch linux instances. On one of the instances, running "sudo pacman -Syu" regularly finds updates. The other instance never seems to find anything. Even when there are updated kernel versions or other updates on the first instance that I would think would be global, the 2nd instance finds nothing. It just always outputs something like:

:: Synchronizing package databases...
core                                              134.2 KiB   384 KiB/s 00:00 [############################################] 100%
extra                                            1643.3 KiB  3.86 MiB/s 00:00 [############################################] 100%
community                                           4.8 MiB  10.2 MiB/s 00:00 [############################################] 100%
:: Starting full system upgrade...
there is nothing to do

What am I missing?

What mirror is at the top of your mirrorlist?

Re: Pacman never finding anything

I'm guessing that your two installations are using different mirrors?

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan
Closing -- for deletion; Banning -- for muppetry. - jasonwryan

Yep, that seems to be it. I copied the mirrorlist from instance 1 to instance 2 and now all of a sudden have 2080.67 MiB of updates to install... Thanks!
