rEFInd has no entries.

I am installing arch in a new computer and this time I have decided to use rEFInd instead of GRUB. The steps I have followed are:

- run pacman -S refind
- run refind-install
- edit /boot/refind_linux.conf so it looks like in the example (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/RE … linux.conf). I have exactly the same configuration, the only difference is the PARTUUID. I have used blkid to find the PARTUUID.

When I restart the computer refind starts but the page is blank, just the refind logo appears on the top but no entries.

Have I forgotten any step? Am I doing something wrong? Am I supposed to change something else from the configuration?

EDIT: After lots of mistakes and 3 days of trial and error not even with the help of the arch linux subredit I was able to make it work. This is the discussion: I need desperate help with rEFInd. I have given up and installed grub. It worked in the first attempt almost perfectly.
