Bildschirmfehlfunktion

Hallo,

Ich habe schon länger ein Problem es ist etwas komplexer zu erklären aber ich versuche es.
Ich habe zwei unterschiedliche Bildschirme davon wirkt einer immer unscharf und zawr dieser hier:

Dagegen ist der andere ganz normal. Zum Vergleich:

Wenn ich ein Screenshot mache ist der Unterschied nicht sichtbar.
Das seltsame ist allerdings das dieses Problem nicht beim Kernel 414lts auftritt aber bei allen anderen. So auch bei dem aktuellen Kernel.
Bei den unscharfen Bildschirm handelt es sich um ein mit HDMI angeschlossenen Fernseher:

Or you've to post in English (doesn't matter if it's not up to Oxford standards)

You also want to provide the output of "xrandr -q" but I assume this is just the overscan function of the Tv, which you want to deactivate in the Tv (every possible workaround will have inferior results)

Ich habe keine Lust diese Datenkrakenlinks anzuklicken, aber es hört sich so an als ob einer deiner Bildschirme mit zu niedriger Auflösung läuft?

Mist, du hast das deinem ersten Post beigefügt nachdem du gebeten wurdest. Bitte nicht machen, das zerstört den Flow des Themas, ausserdem sieht seth dann nicht dass du was neues gepostet hast.

Also - ich sehe drei Bildschirme, 2 davon mit 1920x1080, der dritte, mittlere, "primary" mit 1360x768.
Laptop mit zwei zus. BS?
Ich kann da leider kein Problem erkennen.

Der TV ist nur "HDready"; bei 24" kommt das auf physische 54 DPI.
Ggü. den 132 DPI der anderen beiden outputs wird das immer unscharf sein.

Allerdings sagt die spec auch

Unterstützte Display-Auflösung

Computereingänge
bis zu 1.920 x 1.080 bei 60 Hz

Videoeingänge
24, 25, 30, 50, 60 Hz
bis zu 1.920 x 1.080p

d.h.

xrandr --output HDMI-A-0 --mode 1920x1080

sollte die Ausgabe auf 76 physische DPI bringen (außerdem wird das HD ready Signal vermutlich über de FullHD Auflösung gematscht) - nicht scharf, aber schärfer.

Trotzdem und unabhängig davon sollte bei einem TV unbedingt darauf geachtet werden, den Overscan deaktiviert zu haben.

Die Auflösung 1920x1080 sieht wie du schon bemerkt hast dann nicht gut aus.
Mein problem ist das die Qualität des Bildes mit der Auflösung 1360x768 zwischen den Kernel schwankt.
Nehmlich mit 414lts normal mit allen anderen unscharf und überlichtet.

Das Problem ist also der Unterschied zwischen 1360x768 lts414 und 1360x768 aktueller kernel?
Was ich noch immer nicht verstehe: du hast an deinem Desktop-Computer 3 Bildschirme dran, von denen einer ein TV ist?
Wer hat welche Auflösung? Könntest du den xrandr-Output entspr. kommentieren?

...Ich habe mir deinen xrandr-Output nochmal genauer angeschaut und mir fallen für den mittleren Bildschirm 2 Dinge auf:
- er läuft nicht auf voller Auflösung - kansst du das nicht ändern?
- 1360x768 ist kein üblicher Standard; mein Laptop z.B. hat 1366x768.

OK, nochmal mit Vehemenz: dein xrandr-Output zeigt drei Bildschirme, nicht zwei???

OK. Warum kannst du den dritten nicht auch auf 1920x1080 stellen? entweder mit Hilfe eines grafischen Programms, oder mit xrandr (z.B. was seth vorgeschlagen hat)?
Und lies bitte auch den Rest meines Posts, da sind viele Fragezeichen drin.

Soweit auf den Bildern auszumachen ist, wechselt der TV von einer quadratischen Matrix in eine Strichmatrix. Ich denke, die FullHD Auflösung wird durch Redistribution der RGB subpixel erreicht (ie. Du hast 1920 logische PIxel, aber die haben nicht alle drei Subpixel)

Allerdings hat ondoho mit der 768p AUflösung nicht Unrecht - der Philips link gibt die Auflösung mit 1366x768 an - kannst Du die xrandr Ausgabe für den 4er Kernel vergleichen?
(Nur mit den Fotos ist das nicht zu kären)

Da der Unterschied im kernel zu liegen scheint, solltest Du das journal (oder dmesg) für die jeweiligen boots posten.

Außerdem würde ich zB. openbox testen um auszuschließen, daß der Compositor von Cinnamon uns hier in die Parade fährt.

Falls es einen Unterschied macht, versuch herauszufinden, welcher es ist indem Du sie wieder entfernst, bis das Problem erneut auftritt.
(Vermutlich ist es amdgpu.dc)
