I'm using XFCE4 on a notebook with external HDMI display connected.
Both internal eDP and external HDMI display have 1920x1080, creating a wide 3840x1080 screen via arandr.
The problem is that when the HDMI display powers off, *all* non-maximized windows on the notebook display will move down slightly, apparently by the height of the windows' titlebars.
Repeated turning on/off of the HDMI display has after a day resulted in all non-maximized windows travelling a good deal south on all workspaces, requiring me to move them all up by hand again.
Is this a known bug and is there a possible fix?
