rear audio jacks not working, front does

I have pulseaudio set up and I get audio out of the front headphone jack on my pc, but something is wrong with the back headphone jacks. I have 3 rear headphone jacks on the back of my pc, one of them might be a mic jack but I'm not sure. When I use pavucontrol and set the output device to Line out   my ALSA Mixer looks like this:

If I set the output device to headphones in pavucontrol, my ALSA Mixer looks like:

I suspect really don't know what could cause this, it's also kind of strange that all the ports are enabled at the same time when line out is selected, like pulseaudio is identifying them all as a surround sound system. The problem persists through ALSA, if pulseaudio is off I can still get audio from my headphone jack and not the rear ports. Any help is appreciated, I think I had a similar problem on Ubuntu and solved it but haven't been able to find the forum post I used.

Edit: I've been running speaker-test on each output using speaker-test -D default:Generic -c # through each output, and all the generic outputs seem to run through my headphones

I thought it might be a problem that the ids are all dev =  0, but the example has the same set up

I also noticed that this topic seems similar, however the issue isn't with the outputs not showing up
