How to execute a script after connected to specific wifi network

I want to run a specific script after my machine is connected to a specific Wifi AP. I tried doing it by saving a .sh script in "/etc/network/if-up.d/" , but the directory, /etc/network doesn't exist.

How do I achieve it?

This depends on what you are using as your means to network connection... so what are you using?

E.g. NetworkManager has the dispatcher service others might have other hooks.
