I think eclipse is a remarkable IDE.
There is one in the AUR repository, but if I only want eclipse-cpp, no way to install it without many unwanted things (like eclipse-java, eclispe-php ...).

This is the beauty of aur...
You can create your own pkgbuild to reflect your needs then publish it on the aur soo other people can enjoy it ?

It used to be. It's a PITA to package and maintain, and the current setup makes little sense to package.

That's sad... I basically got my post-graduate degree with it, but wouldn't touch it with a 12-foot pole now.
