I have a barebone laptop with model number of p775dm2g. The motherboard is equipped with dual EC. The model number of two ECs are both `EC IT8587`. Since some related functionalities worked in Windows, I deduced that windows sort of supported this second EC. I want some help to register the SMBus mounted on the second EC. With `modprobe i2c_dev`, only one SMBus is registered in the system.
