Setting sound board as a keyboard

hello. i have an idea of setting up DJ sound board on extra keyboard i have and use main keyboard for PC input. on 2nd keyboard on each key i want to bind different sound output. so i believe there is 2 approaches of doing that.
1) separate 2 keyboards so that 1st can only input on one workspace and 2nd can input on the other workspace with sound caster program on it (i use windows manager)
2) the extra keyboard can have different keyboard layout. and by that i mean layout with non Latin alphabet so i can bind sounds to non Latin character and use main keyboard for PC
i have no idea how to do either of them nor i can come up with different approach to this problem. any suggestions are appreciated!
