Problems geting my fingerprint reader to work

I have a Hp Elitbook 8440p laptop witch has a build in fingerprint reader. The reader is a Validity Sensors. VFS451. I tryed geting it to work but when i instaled the program fprintd, it didnt register it. So i sercht for a solution and found the packege containing the drivers (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/libf … etary-git/) but when i try to build it thru the pacman manager it says:" Error while installing openssl098". Now im stuck an anyone help me?

pacman does not build packages.  Please post the exact command you used and its full output in code tags.
