Windows update broke my encryption

Hey guys, have an issue - updated W10 and my encrypted Arch broke - I know my password but it won't allow me to log in - no encrypted partition found.
Tried to take out nvme and add to my laptop but I do not remember my encryption name ( lvm, arch, bla bla bla ) ... so question is - how can I log in?
P.s. I can not delete files and re-install arch.

Do you mean that a windows update broke your luks partition?
If not, what do you mean?

What kind of encryption? Structure?
It should be obvious and you should know it...
lsblk -f should also make it very obvious...
If the header got damaged and you don’t have a backup...you might not want to hear the rest...

If you can access your encrypted device and you are referring to your user password somehow.
Chroot with archiso and running ‘passwd’ should be enough.

I believe the W10 update broke luks partition/s and also I run encrypted grub
Tried chroot - but unsuccessful as I can not recall what name tag I gave to my luks. ( cryptsetup luksOpen /dev/nvme1n1p2 [tag] )
Structure: uefi/ encrypted grub / lvm

P.s. Is there a difference where my nvme slotted? I have Asus raid card with my nvme for arch and I have m.2 slot where is another nvme slotted ( game nvme W10 ).
I don't want to remove m.2 nvme for now as my pc water-cooled and i would have to drain my loop to access m.2

P.P.s. is it possible for W10 update to break my luks header ?

The tag doesn’t matter when creating a luks, it usually looks as CRYPTO_LUKS in ‘lsblk -f’, or something similar, I’m far from mine now...

You can use any tag for unlocking, now, if the luks fails to unlock, because the header got damaged or you can’t remember your password, it’s game over...do you have backups?

Regarding windows, idk, I don’t use it nor known what they do with their updates...

You don’t have to thank me because I haven’t done anything...

Now if you still want to try, post the output of ‘lsblk -f’ after booting with an archiso. A cold boot preferably, no windows hibernation or fast boot.
