[SOLVED] Touchpad gestures not working in GNOME with Xorg

Recently got into gaming and decided to switch to nvidia optimus from bumblebee so that I can take full advantage of my dGPU. Since nvidia optimus only works in Xorg, I switched to it from wayland. The only issue I have in Xorg is that my multitouch gestures for switching windows and workspaces are not working. I had configured these using the extended gestures extension for GNOME 3. Is there any way to get this working on Xorg, or is this a limitation of this extension? If so, is there any alternative that I can use?

The documentation for that extension is explicitly clear that it only works on Wayland. The obvious alternative is this.

Re: [SOLVED] Touchpad gestures not working in GNOME with Xorg

Thank you. I kept searching "gestures not working in gnome on xorg" and other similar queries. Couldn't find a relevant post. Didn't occur to me to check the documentation for the extension (I didn't even know that gnome extensions had documentation tbh). libinput-gestures solved the issue.
