Installation with wine failed.

I dont know if this is the place to post this but I was trying to install a windows program with arch, and the installer works fine but when it tries to install, the error "check your connections and hit retry to try downloading the files again" appears. Wine also gives me the errors

0214:err:winediag:schan_imp_init Failed to load libgnutls, secure connections will not be available.
0214:err:winediag:load_gssapi_krb5 Failed to load libgssapi_krb5, Kerberos SSP support will not be available.

I previously installed the same program on an Ubuntu system.
I'm on the 5.4.64-1-lts kernel if it helps.

Edit: forgot to add, other programs work with wine, it's the first time I had problems. Also i'm using Wine 5.16 staging.

Re: Installation with wine failed.

Hi Lakso!

As you did not mention what software you are running into issues installing via Wine, the results folks can provide may not be of much use!

As  WINE is complaining about not being able to find specific libraries, the https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wi … pendencies section of the Arch Wiki may be useful. Also, check out the WINEARCH section -- perhaps your application may behave better in wine in 32bit mode rather than 64bit mode!

Re: Installation with wine failed.

I'm sorry, I was installing Spitfire's VSTs. But installing the dependencies fixed the problem.
