bad mistake with rights

Silly was mistaken.
chmod-R 777 * from /.
Whether there is a script establishing correct rights of files?
For the most part has corrected manually.
But it would be desirable to be assured.

holy christ.
I would take the output from pacman -Q and use that to reinstall all packages. Should definitely restore all rights and is quite frankly the only solution you probably have other than a reinstall.

Slap the admin who did this on the wrist.

how about config files?

yes configs won't be touched after reinstalling packages. I suppose all you can do is back them up, reinstall and cat `each_file` >new_config.
