I have a 5k X 2k resolution monitor connected to a Dell Precision 7530 with nVidia graphics, using proprietary driver.
Monitor works fine....but when I put the laptop to sleep and later open it, it shows "No Signal". If I pull the cable and put it back in, it is recognized again.
I've been using Arch on this computer for 2 years. It was fine for most of that time. Earlier this year, around the time of the kernel 5.4/5.5 release, it exhibited this behavior somewhat intermittently, then it was fine for a while. Now it does it every time I open the laptop from sleep.
