Touchpad random freeze

Hello. I am facing an issue where touchpad would randomly stop working completely. Even after reboot, it does not work. However during that period, it works perfectly well on BIOS screen. After some attemps of trying to move the pointer (anywhere between 30 seconds to 5 minutes), the touchpad becomes responsive again.

Here is my touchpad.conf file:

  /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d ❯ cat 30-touchpad.conf
Section "InputClass"
   Identifier "touchpad"
   Driver "libinput"
   MatchIsTouchpad "on"
   Option "Tapping" "on"
   Option "TappingButtonMap" "on"
EndSection

Am I missing something? Any help is appreciated.
