Cadence: refuses to start with any other sample rate than 48kHz

I have been running Jack via Cadence successfully with 96kHz sample rate. (jack can't handle any lower sample rate for me. Look to https://unix.stackexchange.com/question … ack/559534 for more info...)

Then I tried to change some duplex settings and I quickly changed it back to no duplex mode.
Now whenever I start Cadence it will start i 48kHz (which means loads of xruns), no matter what sample rate I select!

Re: Cadence: refuses to start with any other sample rate than 48kHz

Update: Actually I can successfully start Jack with 96kHz when I unplug my "blue snowball" mic. So apparently it only supports 48kHz.
And then when I plug it in again while Jack is running, everything works fine and the mic works ( but probably through pulseaudio or something? not sure how the bridge works exactly (because yes I use PA bridge)).
So.. any idea how to make it  work the same without having to unplug and plug in the mic?
