[Request] Mulberry

Mulberry is now freeware and I believe, it is worthy to be an Arch-Linux Package. -> http://www.mulberrymail.com/

Re: [Request] Mulberry

Oh, right. I was so busy evaluating Sylpheed and -Claws I totally forgot about Mulberry being (beer-)free now. I'm still using 3.1.6 on my other pc with a huge ruleset. So. this will be my first pkgbuild. Expect it on Friday... (the 13th wink

Well, Eudora will be Free-as-in-Speech soon, too. According to several newssites the last commercial Version has been put online. The next Versions will be opensourced.

There you go: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?d … =1&ID=7136

Regarding the integrated spellcheck, I even managed to get Aspell working with the plugin from 4.0.5, but I'll wait until Cyrus puts it back himself in a later release. So for now, it's just Ispell.

Re: [Request] Mulberry

Thanks, byte - nice work, considering it's a binary. smile

I used to have this on Windoze ages ago, so I've just installed it on Arch, for old time's sake. And I have to say it's just as I remember it - ugly and user-unfriendly.

A quick skim over the MLs indicates that Cyrus will probably open-source it (Apache or BSD style, not GPL) and even accept patches from other devs - can't happen soon enough, IMO.

I'll have a look again in, say, 3-6 months.

/me goes pacman -R mulberry
