[Solved] Package installed but not registered

After a system crash a few hours ago, pacman thinks the libreoffice-fresh package is not installed anymore (so I cannot remove it) although all the files are still there (so I cannot reinstall it, as all the existing files are shown as conflicts).

Is there a way to resolve this besides manually deleting all the existing files? Would that even be a safe operation?

Recreate the database entry using pacman's dbonly switch.

man pacman | less -p '--dbonly'

Then check the consistency of the installed files with the check switch.

man pacman | less -p '--check'
