[SOLVED] FPS seem to go up and down, almost wave-like
Just as the title states. I'm using gamemode and I have set nvidia-settings to power 'max performance', in addition to preferring performance over quality, too, but nothing seems to help. My specs are i7-9700F and RTX 2080S. What could be causing this? This video (https://youtu.be/1MFBbVh_Msg) shows what's happening.

Seems like CoreCtrl was the culprit. The governor was set to 'Powersave', which didn't boost the speed of the CPU.
