Touchpad and Touchscreen stop working at random. [Lenovo Flex 14]

Hi I've been having a problem recently whenever I'm working on a drawing in Krita my touchpad and touchscreen stop working simultaneously.

I've tried to reload the modules wacom and hid-multitouch but they still don't work. Does anyone know a fix to this problem?

Sometimes a restart fixes it and sometimes it doesn't and dmesg outputs this error about i2c_hid failing to reset:
