Hi!
I have Japanese keyboard plugged on a laptop with a French keyboard. I am running gnome on X and I could configure both input entries in the settings using ibus-mozc.
After modifying /usr/share/ibus/component/mozc.xml to set the layout to "jp" instead of "default", I can use my extra keys and everything works almost correctly.
Almost, because on password fields other than terminals or gdm, for example polkit-gnome or Firefox, the layout is still French despite Japanese being displayed as current layout.
This is even very troublesome because I cannot even see what I am typing for those fields.
Does anyone have any idea?
