Lenovo x230 boot in docking, keyboard not working to decrypt SSD

Hi there,
whenever my x230 is in the docking (Mini dock series 3) at start I need to open the laptop lid and enter the decryption password form the laptop keyboard.
It won't take any input from the USB keyboard plugged in the docking.
From journal I see this:

Oct 23 07:59:36 x230 kernel: usb 4-1.8.3: new low-speed USB device number 5 using ehci-pci
Oct 23 07:59:36 x230 kernel: usb 4-1.8.3: New USB device found, idVendor=413c, idProduct=2003, bcdDevice= 3.06

Oct 23 07:59:36 x230 kernel: usb 4-1.8.3: Product: Dell USB Keyboard

Oct 23 07:59:36 x230 kernel: usb 4-1.8.4: SerialNumber: 4FB82170
Oct 23 07:59:36 x230 kernel: atkbd serio0: Unknown key pressed (translated set 2, code 0xd8 on isa0060/serio0).
Oct 23 07:59:36 x230 kernel: atkbd serio0: Use 'setkeycodes e058 <keycode>' to make it known.
Oct 23 07:59:36 x230 kernel: atkbd serio0: Unknown key released (translated set 2, code 0xd8 on isa0060/serio0).
Oct 23 07:59:36 x230 kernel: atkbd serio0: Use 'setkeycodes e058 <keycode>' to make it known.
Oct 23 07:59:36 x230 kernel: urandom_read: 1 callbacks suppressed

Any hint what this could actually be?
I think it recognized something from when I press numbers/letters on the external keyboard?

It's not a big problem, but maybe I get to find a fix with the help of somebody that might have encountered the same issue?
