[SOLVED] KDE system settings crashing regularly

I am using KDE on a fresh install of Arch on a Lenovo X13 Yoga.  I can change some system settings (Theme, Style, etc) and can apply these changes, but when I close the Settings application, I get a crash report that says this:

Executable: systemsettings5 PID: 125257 Signal: Segmentation fault (11) Time: 10/27/20 10:34:16 AM CDT

This happens every time I modify any setting.

When I try certain actions (for example trying to change the anti-aliasing strategy for fonts from the default RGB) it changes briefly, but then the application crashes and it reverts back to the default setting the next time I try to open System Settings.

How might I resolve this problem?

EDIT: I deleted all the old KDE-related configuration files and started with an as-first-time login.
