I have two ssd disks.
sda - about 128 GB
sdb - about 240 GB
I launched on both disks test:
smartctl -t long <device>
on sda it is still working (90% remaining) and I started as a first one
od sdb it took about 3 minutes. Is that normal? It taking quite long on smaller disk and after few minutes it is still 90%
On sdb I did:
smartctl -a /dev/sdb and I have:

After scanning selected spans, do NOT read-scan remainder of disk.
If Selective self-test is pending on power-up, resume after 0 minute delay. And I don't know how to read the result.
I'm a little woried about:
180 Unused_Reserve_NAND_Blk 0x0033 000 000 000 Pre-fail Always - 2159Isn't that mean that something is wrong?

No, there's nothing wrong with your disks they both look fine according to the output you show.
You should read 'man smartctl' to get a clearer picture about the output shown in the log file.
It clearly shows there are no errors btw.
Just an observation ; do you have a hobby restarting your machine, your power cycles are almost as high as the power on hours ![]()
2 of my SSD's
9 Power_On_Hours 0x0032 097 097 000 Old_age Always - 12971
12 Power_Cycle_Count 0x0032 099 099 000 Old_age Always - 35
9 Power_On_Hours 0x0032 094 094 000 Old_age Always - 30124
12 Power_Cycle_Count 0x0032 099 099 000 Old_age Always - 319and I thought my power cycles were high... ![]()

I love the smell of restarted PC in the morning ![]()
Have no idea why it is so high.

Never seen hard disk's doing power cycle on reboot (old motherboard aside) idk about ssd's though

Yes, you're right. it indicates the number of complete power on/off cycles.
