[SOLVED] Wine cannot find wine-mono

I've installed both the wine (5.20-1) and wine-mono (5.1.0-1) packages.  Running winecfg results in a dialog box complaining that "Wine could not find a wine-mono package" and asking whether it should automatically download and install it.  This is the dialog box I should see when wine-mono isn't installed, as noted in the wiki.

What can I do to get wine to see wine-mono?

FWIW, I also have mono (6.10.0.104-1) installed.

Re: [SOLVED] Wine cannot find wine-mono

Same issue here. There is an AUR package claiming to fix the version numbers but as i stated in the comments there already it doesn't have any effect.
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/wine … ersion-fix

Edit:
The 'wine-mono' package (v5.1.0) is out-of-date. Wine will download 5.1.1. Its flagged since 29-09-2020. Weird... i've contacted the maintainer.

Re: [SOLVED] Wine cannot find wine-mono

This issue was resolved for me with the recent wine-mono package update to 5.1.1-1.
