arch doesn't detect earphone mic

My laptop's internal microphone has damaged and doesn't work anymore, I tried to use my earphone mic but arch doesn't detect it and force me to use internal mic(earphone output works well).
Before I tried to add

 options snd-hda-intel model=dell-headset-multi

to file

 /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf

and arch detected my headset mic, now if I do the same thing arch detect internal mic as headset mic.
how should I set arch to use my earphone mic?

Use pulseaudio to set the input device.

Re: arch doesn't detect earphone mic

Yes I have checked pulseaudio (and pavucontrol both). I also checked my DEs (KDE) audio settings and none are muted.

The thing is my laptop (Thinkpad) mic works perfectly but when I connect my headphone, in KDE audio control it shows "Internal Microphone Unplugged" and the headphone mic just doesn't capture anything (It works in my mobile phone).
