Plymouth freezes after splash screen

Hey folks,

there is this weird thing bugging me when booting my system.

Kernel Version: 5.9.6-arch1-1
Grub Version: 2.04

Thread title is from boot.log

The problem

I'm using the Plymouth theme 'arch-breeze'. Everytime I'm booting up my system, Plymouth fails to execute (that's what I'm thinking) the process to terminate the plymouth boot screen.
Changing from tty2 and back to tty1 gets me to gnome login manager and I can login normally. But without changing ttys, nothing will happen, Plymouth just 'hangs' and I'm getting nowhere.

I sincerely hope someone on here is a wizard and is able to help me with my problem.
I'm still a noob and will happily provide any logs you guys may need.
