Good afternoon.
A while ago I had the same issue as prescribed in the title, please, read the original thread for more details: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=260811
Just as before, I ran:
sudo journalctl -kb-1 --since "2020-11-22"
I only got the following errors:
1) nvidia-gpu 0000:01:00.3: i2c timeout error e0000000
2) ucsi_ccg 0-0008: i2c_transfer failed -110
3) ucsi_ccg 0-0008: ucsi_ccg_init failed - -110
All of them are considered harmless. I'm running out of ideas of why this issue is happening, mainly because since 2020-11-17 (5 days ago) there were no problems at all. Since that date I only installed Spotify, by using:
sudo pacman -S spotify
I doubt that this music player has something to do with the current issue. All help is appreciated, thanks in advance.
EDIT, for the sake of more details in here: whenever I playing a game, my screen goes black at some point. The laptop does not turn off, the game does not drop its FPS, nothing odd happens. At some point, for some reason, the screen just goes black.

Which game, are you using a controller? Can you wake the screen up by pressing a keyboard button if so?

CS:GO through Steam, and Minecraft. They're the only two I played, but it happens with both. I'm using a keyboard and mouse (USB jacks). I tried to wake the screen, but I simply couldn't.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:
This afternoon I let my laptop turned on, and went for a run. When I returned, after a shower, I went to my room where I found the laptop still on, with a black screen (normal, it is on sleep mode, right?). Actually no, the laptop was on, but it was freezed, just like when I played games with it. This is the first time that it happens outside the execution of a game. Does this indicates that I may be facing hardware problems?
PS: Since I got this new information, I'll be updating the thread title.
Edit: Should I move the topic, since it is not only related to games anymore?

UPDATE 2:
I don't know what is it, but today this happened 3 times already... So, I was watching a Youtube video and the laptop, still on, freezed. This time, the screen did not went black, it was still on. The screen was freezed, but the audio was in a 1s loop. It was repeating the last second of the video constantly. Again, could not make the computer respond, had to shut it down...

So... now I kinda can’t boot. Tried to turn the laptop on but got stuck into the “Starting version 246.6-1-arch”. I can CTRL + ALT + F2 though.
