[SOLVED] Characters with cedilla on German(Austria) layout

Hi!

I have a QWERTZ keyboard with German(Austria) layout. I have tried several options but I don't seem to be able to produce characters with cedilla like ç.

I would like that ALT-GR with c produces it but it only renders ¢.

How can I change this behavior?

Benedict

Re: [SOLVED] Characters with cedilla on German(Austria) layout

If you use a dead deadgraveacute variant, the cedilla is on the 3rd level shift of that key, ie.

AltGr+',c

("'" being the key right to the "ß?\" and left of the backspace.

Edit, see /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/de

çççanks seth! The key you mention is labeled differently but exactly like you said between ß and backspace.

Well with an acute and grave accents like on the wikipedia page. You typed an apostroph and that had me confused.

Ah.
The dead acute actually becomes a single quote when resolved w/ a blank for de/deadgraveacute.
Maybe I put "´" on an xcompose pattern smile
