I updated with `pacman -Syu`
And just before it finished the installation of the updated packages
The entire DE froze.
After I rebooted, it said error can't find vmlinuz-linux
Load the kernel first.
And also it didn't find the fallback image.
Additional things I tried
After live boot I mounted mnt and mnt/boot arch-chroot into mnt and run pacman -Syu linux
It finished with an error telling me it is empty, not checked.
Which I checked and it does.
I don't know what to do :(
Every similar topic I checked their solutions didn't work.

Which one? …
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pa … an_upgrade
Edit, for clarification: the "--sysroot" stuff, not arch-chroot.
If that doesn't lead to a solution, please post the actual, verbatim error messages. In doubt the link to a photo of the output.
But no paraphrases.

If you have upgraded the kernel try to downgrade and see if the problem persists.
This will allow you to understand if the new kernel version is causing problems.
Also check if the boot partition is mounted correctly.

Seth I am really sorry for the paraphrasing! I was using my phone and it's my very first time posting here. I apologise to the community.
Ok so thanks slot for your replies. I followed Seth's link and after I followed the steps it turns out that indeed I had a corrupted qt package and a bunch of partially upgraded packages.
The cause was my system crashed during the update
I reinstalled the linux package and it booted! To a terminal at least.
And now I am in the process of upgrading everything/reinstalling.
Thank you alot!
(Should I mark this as solved even though it's not completely solved yet?)

I think you should make a new thread if you need help (re)installing/upgrading packages, because that's not really related to the issue itself, it just happens to come after it. If there is something related, post here.

Don't worry too much about that
It's more important that you understand that paraphrases of error messages are rarely meaningful (cause details and context matter) and keep that in mind for future situations.

I will if I need to make a post again! I read the stickies now and I see how to post logs even if something similar happens again.
Just FYI everything now works took me a while but managed to pull through.
