2.6 kernel question

Hi,
I just installed the 2.6.2 kernel via pacman an it works great, just modfied grub and it just works.
my question is if I need to recompile it, is the .config used to build the packaged version available?

Also I am assuming  I have to download the source directly from kernel.org right, or is there a pacman package for the source?

Thanks,

Snorkel

Re: 2.6 kernel question

Anything you can get via pacman you can build via ABS.

run "abs" as root, and then move over to /var/abs/kernels/kernel26 and you can run "makepkg" to build a package fully automated. Edit the config to your liking.
