[SOLVED] Cannot edit existing systemd unit - not found

I am also experiencing this bug.
To avoid the fix being overridden by the next update, I wanted to use systemd to edit the unit:

$ sudo systemctl edit gnome-session-restart-dbus.service
No files found for gnome-session-restart-dbus.service.
Run 'systemctl edit --force --full gnome-session-restart-dbus.service' to create a new unit.

But it is there:

$ stat /usr/lib/systemd/user/gnome-session-restart-dbus.service
  File: /usr/lib/systemd/user/gnome-session-restart-dbus.service
  Size: 316 Blocks: 8 IO Block: 4096 regular file
Device: fe00h/65024d	Inode: 162683      Links: 1
Access: (0644/-rw-r--r--)  Uid: (    0/    root)   Gid: (    0/    root)

What am I missing here?

Edit: Nevermind. It's a user unit and I am blind.
