cgdb not working

Hello
I installed cgdb 0.7.1-3.
But I does not work : the source of the cpp program does not appear in the corresponding window,
and some characters do not appear properly for example :

Type "apropos word" to search for commands related to "word".

Below the dependances

Nom                      : readline
Version                  : 8.1.0-2
Nom                      : ncurses
Version                  : 6.2-1

It works with readline-8.0.004-1-x86_64 and not with readline-8.1.0-2-x86_64.

Fortunately since some time and therefore after some 

pacman -Syu

cgdb now works fine with readline-8.1.0-2-x86_64.

For me pacman -Syu and readline-8.1.0-2-x86_64 don't solve the problem.
