[SOLVED] GNOME video driver

I'm using a notebook with Intel UHD 620 GPU and no other GPU. Reading the wiki https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Intel_graphics it recommends to fall back to Kms. Is it really good to avoid the xf86-video-intel package? Won't I miss some Intel features?

Also about the sections
* Enable GuC / HuC firmware loading
* Intel GVT-g graphics virtualization support

Are those only possible by falling back into Kms or is it also possible with the package xf86-video-intel?
Btw. I want to use the GNOME Wayland session.

If you are going to use a wayland session that package is irrelevant anyway.

This is strictly a xorg ddx 2D operations driver. No you aren't going to miss any of these features. Maybe reading https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X.Org_Ser … nt_X_(DDX) will help clear some of this up.
