[SOLVED] Wireguard and NAS drives - not working

So as in my newbie introduction, I recently set up Arch (budgie/lightdm) with disk encryption on my Dell XPS 9300. While the bootloader caused me some troubles wrt to drive encryption my overall experience was quite smooth in getting eveything to work the way I wanted.

Being a big fan of wireguard I got that to work, however I have trouble accessing my NAS drives (samba) via wireguard which is quite important for my use cases. The budgie file manager reports an unknown error.

Thanks in advance for any guidance to resolve this.

Please mount your share via mount from a terminal and post its output.

Thanks for looking into this thread as well, however I already resolved it by substituting the network share name with the explicit LAN-IP. So it seems that I need to have a look at the name resolution in my LAN, does not seem to be related to either WG or Arch.

If you route all traffic through wireguard you'll have to make sure your DNS server is accessible with it as well.

Yes I route all traffic, DNS queries are also working.
