I'm quite new to this whole thing , but I've installed Archlinux a few times succesfully ; I recently re-installed Arch and went with the plasma desktop , all was going great until I needed to set a custom shortcut to turn on my fans , when I click the button to record the keybindings for the shortcut it stays blue and doesn't do anything.
