Liquidprompt generates log messages on every command I input

I've been using liquidprompt to customize the shell prompt. But it generates an error message every time I input a command:

dec 28 16:35:24 audit[12784]: USER_CMD pid=12784 uid=1000 auid=1000 ses=3 subj=unconfined_u:unconfined_r:unconfined_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 msg='cwd="/home/user" cmd="true" exe="/usr/bin/sudo" terminal=pts/0 res=failed'
dec 28 16:35:24 sudo[12784]: user : a password is required ; TTY=pts/0 ; PWD=/home/user ; USER=root ; COMMAND=/usr/bin/true

Could this be something malicious?
It happens on both Arch and Fedora
