Well, i running arch testing and i want install gnome-terminal but i only get 404's in any mirror, but when i do a "pacman -Ss gnome-terminal" the package are in the mirror's db.

do you have trouble installing other packages? If so try using wget for file retrieval in /etc/makepkg.conf. If not there may be an issue on arch's end ie someone updated the package and forgot to run gensync. Give it time.

thanks for ur fast response, but i only have troubles with gnome-terminal, all the others packages works fine.
I've browse manually the mirror (ftp.archlinux.org) with a web browser and i've not found the package..

then its a database issue on the repo end. Give it a day or so and see if it doesn't sync back. If it doesn't file a bug.

Seems someone deleted some packages from testing. Grabbed some from the ftp.surfnet.nl mirror, they maintain backups of everything that appears on the FTP and even maintains that for years after it has been deleted.
