iso/img problem BIOS problem thinkpadx250

greetings,

in order to fix my function key problem (thinkpadx250) i want to update my bios. after i downloaded the iso from lenovo i was very confused... the usb stick didnt boot..... secure boot is off and legacy only mode.. nothing happend.. so i checked the files... i even tryed to create one with rufus on windwos (no supported file / in decades never saw that msg)..... after mounting the iso into a loop it was empty Oo...... just wanted to create a freedos bootable usb stick and flash my bios but i cant get my hands onto the files in the iso files.......did i miss something or im just tyred xD.....

Not sure what this has to do with Arch but sounds like a corrupt download, double check the checksum (... and if you have access to a Windows, try the exe instead)

Also have a good read of the xxxxx.txt file in the support page you mentioned. I updated my BIOS in my X220 once and can be tricky. Be very careful.
